I’ve become obsessed with 14. The lack of being able to listen to, understand, and empathize with opinions different than your own is going to be the downfall of society. It’s insane out there, with universities limiting free speech when they are supposed to be the institutions where new ideas are fostered. I could go and on with the topic!

I agree. Politically, I feel we’re being ruled rather than governed and that is really heavy for me mentally – if that makes sense. It’s like our freedoms are being widdled away and nobody is stepping in to do anything. It’s just too much… The meanness and the hatefulness… I’m so done with all of it.

Scary the lessons our country is going through right now. I hope we make it to the other side and “normal”. But I fear that we may have gone too far into authoritarianism as too many of our fellow citizens seem to like that sort of thing.

I think we’ve gone too far too. People will say that the Republican Party is the only party that will stay out of your business and not try to run your life. Well, it’s not looking that way to me…
