SSSHHH…

Maybe if we’re all vewy, vewy quiet 2021 won’t see us…

May 2021 be a year of healing.

May we recognize that what we have in common far outweighs our differences.

May we show kindness, understanding, empathy, sympathy, and most importantly, love for one another.

It’s time to be healthy again and, when we’re able, to spend as much time as we can with our family and friends.

At the end of the day, all we have is each other and only for a very limited amount of time. Cherish it always.

It is, in my opinion, the most valuable lesson that 2020 has taught us all.

MIMI’S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY –

Happy New Year!

    1. Oh thank you!! I’ve been trying to keep up with you on Instagram but it’s not the same is it? I absolutely plan on posting more this year! I have a schedule, a calendar, and posts already written! Go me, huh? 🙂 Now I really need to catch up on the blogging world. Thank you for missing me! I’ve missed you too!

      1. How sweet! It’s so nice catching you on here (when it sends notifications)Insta was supposed to be a 1-2 week break. Somehow it extended to 2 months.🤦🏾‍♀️ I’ll be back soon 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I’ve still not been able to see family. U.K. are in a far worst situation. Hopefully soon. Did you manage to see any of your gorgeous grandchildren this year?

      2. Yes! It’s very nice to meet up here! I was worried! ❤ – My Christmas was absolutely wonderful and it totally sucks that this pandemic is keeping us all away from our families. I saw that the U.K. had taken a turn for the worse with that new strain of Covid and I suspect the U.S. is not far behind. I'm hopeful that by the fall it will be safe to travel and be with my gorgeous – thank you – grandchildren. Fingers, eyes and toes all crossed that 2021 is an amazing year.

      3. Aww I’m sorry I worried you. But, glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas. We had a nice one here. I can’t believe it’s almost been a year of this pandemic. It’s insane and sad. And yes, things seemed to have spiralled a bit in the UK. Hopefully, this new vaccine (and government) may prevent things getting as bad for you guys in the US. Last year, I kept hoping with each season things would change. This year just going to go with the flow. I can imagine how amazing it will feel seeing people again. Cannot wait and have everything crossed. I’ll be back on IG soon . For now, enjoy your day and weeke nd lovely lady xxxx

  2. Happy New Year. Sneaking into 2021? I don’t know. I think we should be loud and have our presence be known. After all, we did manage to survive 2020, something not everyone can say.

    1. Ya’ know what Liz? You’re absolutely right! We should go in like a marching band and play for those who didn’t make it.

  3. Happy New Year, Karen! I totally agree that “we’re all in this together” is the most valuable lesson of 2020. (along with always stash away an extra package of toilet paper lol!) May this be a year of kindness, healing, understanding, and yes, “love for one another.” ❤

    1. Hahahaha! I always have an extra 12 pack double roll of toilet paper now! Lol. Kindness is where it’s at. I’m convinced if people would just be kind we could work this out. I’m hoping anyway.
