Exciting start to my day. Took my pup out to go pee this morning and she didn’t even notice the big, fat cat in the yard chewing on something dead.
Finally got over whatever creeping crud invaded my body. Of course, I blame the hospital and the cancer center. Both places FILLED with sick people!
PS – I call bullshit on all those hand sanitizers and those surgical masks!

Thank the big belly of Buddha, I didn’t have strep!
I’ve been going thru some personal stuff so I’ve been self-medicating with some reading and crafting.
I’m reading two books at the moment.
Does anybody else do this?

Okay, the first book is…

I bought this book because people were talking about it on Instagram. Seriously.
It sounded interesting and it is! I’m not done with it but it’s already got a 5-star review from me.

The second book, also a 5-star pick for me.

Apparently, I’m trying to tap into some hidden Goddess power.
Hopefully not this Goddess but we are having the weather from hell
so, meh, could be.
Depends on the day and what who I sit on.
Seriously. In a big way.
A few of my WIP’s.
(Works in progress)
Wow. And with that I will end this post. It’s almost midnight and I promised myself to post today!

I hope you’re all having an amazing weekend.
What are you reading??
Is anybody crafting??
What’s your weekend looking like??
I know. I’m a nosey bitch.

  1. I have been known to have 2 or more books on the go at the same time. There is usually a tower of books of varying height on my nightstand, while I read yet another on my tablet…hehehe! Thanks for posting what you are reading – I’m going to check them out!

    1. Yay! I’m not alone!!! πŸ˜€ – I really do like both of these books and it’s so funny as I read them because I would’ve liked them for much different reasons in my 20’s and 30’s. Hard to explain. Same stuff just processed with a different mindset. I suppose I no longer feel the need to shout out, “I am woman hear me roar…” Hahahaha. Bonus points if you know who sang that song! πŸ˜€ – Happy Sunday, Deb

      1. Hahahahahahaha! Omgosh. I remember making up much different words to that song. Roar rhymes with a lot of words.. Hahahaha

  2. Self-medicating with some reading and crafting is the best way to self-medicate. I laughed out loud.

I’m glad you’re feeling better. Hubby will say the same about those masks and the hand sanitizer. He got sick a lot when his mom was in the care home. Really sick then I’d get sick.

We are home just lounging around and staying cool. Huge heat wave and that’s not our idea of a good time on the boat.

    Have a fabulous day. β™₯

    1. Thank you. πŸ™‚ – Omgosh. It’s the truth. Those places that are meant to make people well make everybody else sick and passing that sickness around at home is no fun, I know. – Oh, I’m so happy to hear that you’re not out in that heat. We’ve got some high temps going on right now too and it totally blows. Hopefully, your temps will cool down again so you and the hubs can get out on that beautiful water. It makes me happy when people I care about are doing the wonderful things they love. ❀
