Why do we pay to have the best of the best, the fastest of the fast, a gamer’s paradise of speed for this bullshit to happen over n’ over n’ over again???
Omg… This would be the technical difficulties I was experiencing the other day.
It started out like this…
And ended up like this…
And that was just the computer issues. Well, 99.9% of them anyway.
We had not one but two techs come out, one of them stoned and completely worthless. Seriously. He tried going out to his truck via our laundry room door. Not even kidding. The other one gave us a new router. This would be the one I’d like to strangle.
– Not really, just a joke for the gullible and easily offended online crowd out there… –
So, lots of blah, blah, blahing later. We’ve got the new router and all is well EXCEPT for my printer!
I went to print and it showed it offline. Nope, impossible, I thought. I was just printing with it before the whole slow mo/no go internet issue which ended with that brand new router “they” said we needed.
Anyway, long story sorta’ short, my printer is an HP, and being offline and getting back online is a huge techie process to go thru. I can’t do it, they have to fix things on their end. So, either they fix it OR I’ll be shipping it back for a replacement. That’s it, that’s all.
On the plus side, I’m able to be in the blogging world so woo hoo for me!
Oh, and hey!

Nothing is more frustrating than internet issues. Well, printer issues, too! I have an HP and it acts up ALL the time. Like, it will suddenly start printing things at 50% the actual size. And yes, it does disconnect for me quite often, but I’m always able to get it back online again. Hope your issues are resolved! So glad you’re posting again! So many have left blogging recently! I think it has to do with vaccinations, to be honest!

No kidding but it’s definitely fixed this time and I am so happy! – Omgosh. The whole vaccinations issue. That would be an incredibly stupid reason to leave blogging. People need to get it together.

I know exactly what you’re going through with your router. Sadly. (Not the printer issue, though. I still use a printer that I have to physically connect to my computer via a cable when I want to print something. I’ve seen the wifi printing issues, and I don’t want that fight.)
I hope it’s all fixed now. We got ours “fixed” only to have to get them out again a week later to fix it again. (The 2nd time they brought us a new router, so I doubt you’ll need them again.)

Omgosh. It’s sooooo frustrating. This time they brought us a router/modem combo. I don’t even know what that’s all about but thankfully, today, I’m up and running again!

Thank you, Madilyn and good question, did we even need a new router… Ugh. They brought us a router/modem combo this time! I know nothing about it other than here I am and I’m thankful for that!

Technical issues are so aggravating! Glad you got yours resolved, at least partially. When my printer shows offline, I disconnect it then reconnect, and that usually solves the problem. It’s also an HP (older model). HP has some free software called Print & Scan Doctor that diagnoses and fixes problems too.

Oh, I went thru all of the fix-it stuff, Debbie and I got absolutely nowhere. Thank goodness for outsourced HP techs!

My printer is a multi tasker, print, scan, copy, but I cannot get it to scan anything into my laptop. The older machine with the older laptop was the same. I’ve given up and no longer have any need for scanning. But it was annoying for quite some time.

I wanted this one specifically because it could do all of those things but was primarily for reprinting photos and I do love it but HP does have its glitches.
