HAPPY TUESDAY

I’m joining my friend Sandee (again) over at Comedy Plus with another of her weekly post link-ups. I know. It’s like I’m stalking her.
Today’s post is Happy Tuesday, and it’s super simple…
Per Sandee –
*** Post a funny picture.
*** Post a not so funny picture.
*** Post whatever weirdness you want. That’s it.

If you want to join in, and you should, just write your Happy Tuesday post and head over to Sandee’s and link up. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Because, as Sandee says, “Being happy is a good thing.”

It’s true, being happy is a good thing, and I hope all of you are happy and enjoying your Tuesday. I have zero on the books today except laundry, mending a few shirts for a friend and then diving into fall and Christmas projects in the air-conditioned place I call home because, in the words of, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, it’s like a heat wave and I need to keep my mind on the “ber” months! No triple digit heat, no sweat, and no bugs!

And I know we’re not the only ones getting hit with the heat, so stay cool everybody, and if you need some tips on how to do that, order up Fonzie’s “Stay Cool Kit.” You get a full color GIANT poster, his “How To Be Cool List” of Do’s and Don’ts, his Teen Beat biography AND candid action shots! Now, that’s a lotta bang for the buck!

**** Sadly, my internet search did not reveal one existing “The Fonz Stay Cool Kit.” Looks like you’re on your own kids.

  1. Love them all, but the third one is my favorite. I don’t want to deal with any bull…

You can stalk me if you want.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love you, Karen. ♥

    1. Omgosh. Probably. You had to order it from Tiger Beat magazine. Is that even around anymore. That was always my go to for the hotties way back when. Lol. – And yes, less people, present company excepted. :) I hope you had a great Tuesday Mimi.

  2. I’m all for less people and less bullshit. 😆 We’re all in the same boat when it comes to this heat wave, but it’s on the downward slide here. It was even too hot for me, and I’m grateful we have central A/C in the house. My old car’s died though, and no point fixing it, cause it’s too expensive ($1200.00 for the compressor, not including labour) and the car is 20 years old. Good thing hubby’s car is in good shape. I’ll be stealing it, for sure. Stay cool!

    1. Isn’t it just so true? Less people = less bullshit. Oh, I’m happy you’re on the downward slide now, and I can’t believe it was even too hot for you sun worshiping Goddess that you are. – I’m sorry your car died. That always sucks and repairs can be so expensive! It’s good that you have hubby’s car. Maybe you can find something for yourself this summer, I mean if you need to. A 2nd car is always good to have, but I refuse to have another car payment – ever. I hate them. Anymore they’re as much as a mortgage payment. Ugh. – I’m happy you have central air. We have our AC unit going every day at 62 degrees until fall. Seriously. We’re all Michigan people. We all hate the heat and love the snow. Lol. :)

      1. The other day, it was 111F with the humidity. Made it hard to breathe! 🥵 The car’s A/C died, but the vehicle still runs. Trouble is, it’s 20 years old and rusting out on the bottom, so it won’t last much longer. Next breakdown, we’ll have to scrap it. 😢 With the price of cars these days (I don’t want any car payments either!), we’ll likely make the adjustment to sharing one. Ugh!

Wow – 62 degrees in the house?! I’d be shivering! 😆

        1. Ugh. That humidity. I’m so glad we don’t have it here. I remember those humid days it was like you had to cut a hole thru the atmosphere so you could breathe, so I get those hard to breathe days. It is a bummer about the vehicle but it has served you well and sharing a vehicle is a bummer but not as big of a bummer as a car payment. – Yes, 62! The morning sun and heat comes thru my windows in the morning and nearly fries me in my bed! And then in the evening the sun and heat hit the other side so there’s so break. Plus we have fans going and that’s ridiculous but I won’t say anything bad about them. I’m happy to have them and happy they all work.

  3. And now I’m flashing to Henry Winkler’s latest commercial. Where he leans into being old. So many of the stars I admired from that time turned out to be horrible human beings, but not him. It’s good that there are some genuinely good people out there.

  4. I love summer, but this heat/humidity has not been pleasant. And then you walk into a grocery store and freeze your ass off. WHY do they set the A/C at 50 degrees?? I love the two memes of the cats on the unicorns! LOL! I enjoyed my time away from the internet, but definitely missed the laughs (the news, not so much!)

    1. Lol. I don’t freeze my ass off in the grocery stores. My home has acclimated me! Lol. I would love summer a lot more if it didn’t come with extreme heat. Fortunately, we don’t have the humidity out here thank goodness but don’t buy that “but it’s a dry heat” for one second. Heat is fucking heat. – It is fun to unplug, isn’t it. My problem is I could unplug indefinitely. Many, many times I think about deleting it all and just living life without being tethered. Unfortunately, I have a family that doesn’t like it when I delete my social media, so here I am. Okay, and maybe it’s a little too much fun. Lol.
