Ugh. That humidity is killer. Michigan humidity was the same, that thick, heat where you feel like you have to cut a hole in the atmosphere to breathe. Idaho has dry heat. People say it’s better. It’s not. Heat is heat. I don’t like any of it.
The swamps will get cold in oh, say, January (lol) but the hottest of the heat should break in late October or early November. I hope you have the best autumn ever.

We’re headed into Spring on my side of the equator. Jasmine is blooming, days are longer, allergies are rife, ooh boy! what a season!

It was a lousy summer. We either had rain or 90 degree heat and humidity. And don’t even get me started on the construction!
