The first hour I had it, I hated it. Lol. I’m still playing around with it and trying to organize everything on this phone like it was on my Android. My biggest headache is trying to get my photos and videos transferred to my external hard drive on my computer. When I made the switch, it brought in all of my photos from Android. THOUSANDS of photos. I installed and tried 3 different apps that were supposed to make the transfer easy. None of them worked. I ended up connecting my phone to my computer with the usb cord, and I’ve been having to transfer the photos 20 at a time to my external hard drive. At this rate, I should be about 900 years old before I get all the photos and videos transferred. Lol. Other than the photo transfer issue, I like it enough not to regret getting it and getting it actually did lower my bill. Lol. YouTube has helped A LOT in figuring it out.
Thank you, Liz. All of my kids and grandkids have always been team iPhone, and I finally caved and joined the team. My son has been teaching me some things, but YouTube has a bazillion videos that are very helpful. If you’ve always had iPhones, Android would seem like early pixelated video games. Lol.
Yes. They’ve been bugging me for years so they finally got their wish. Lol. I’m wondering if they’re still feeling so happy since I use all of them to test out all of the cool stuff on the iPhone. Lol.
Well, what would interest you the most is the camera. It’s pretty amazing. It’s definitely a learning curve for us Android users but it’s got a lot of bells and whistles that I’m starting to love.
I put off having an i-phone because they cost too much, then my daughter upgraded and gave me hers and because she knows her phone very well she was able to help me understand and learn it. I’ve had it for almost three years now.
I put off having it as long as I could too but all of my kids and grandkids have the iPhones so I caved. Lol. I’m watching a lot of YouTube videos to help me get the hang of it.
I’ve been tossing around the idea of getting an ipad but it would only be for my digital books and I have so many paperbacks and hardbacks to read stacked all around me. I’m determined to get thru those first.
We still have android. I’ve never had an iPhone. Perhaps someday. How do you like it?
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

I’ve had iPhones since I got my first smartphone. I wouldn’t know from Android. Good luck learning the new system. I hope you enjoy it.

There are some things that work better iPhone to iPhone, so it’s good that the rest of your family is already on board.

Congrats on your new phone! I’ve only ever used Androids. Is the iPhone that much better?
