Our Autumn weather sucked and Winter is gearing up to be just as rude, but I’m trying to cutback on alcohol despite it all. And every time someone on a reality show mentions gummies, I heed your warning! XO
Lol. Discipline will keep me posting. I will grant myself that wish. – Our Autumn was great, but our Winter is sucking big time. NO SNOW. NONE. ZILCH. ZIP. ZAP. ZERO! We’ve had more rain than usual, and I’m thankful for that but no snow, man. Total bummer. Meanwhile, my kids and family back in Michigan are measuring their snowfall in FEET! I’m so jealous. – I’m making my drink of choice water because apparently no matter how much a human consumes you can still be dehydrated! Plus, it’s healthier than Irish coffee, Baileys and coffee, Kahlua and coffee. Those are my “warm me up” snuggle in drinks. Lol. And, putting Fireball in tea is delicious but there’s something very Boonesfarm-ish about it. Lol. – And OMG, the gummies… Just say no or take less than I did! My kids and grandkids still laugh at me!
If you get 10% of your list it will be a good year.

Happy New Year, Liz! I just saw that California is getting hit with a major snow storm, is this true? If it is I’ll be even more bummed than I already am. What the heck? Why aren’t we getting snow?? Lol. I know. I’m a whiner.
I had not heard about a major snowstorm, but it never snows here, so no reason I would have. In the mountains, maybe? We’re getting hit with a lot of rain, so it’s likely snowing in the mountains.
Probably the mountains. Hopefully, the rain will be helpful in keeping the land not burnt to a crisp. Our snowpack helps keep our fires a little less intense. We’ve had rain more than usual but absolutely no snow for us here in the valley, and I don’t think it’s much better in the mountains, at least not for the ski resorts. One of our most popular ski resorts has issued refunds for season pass holders.
Hopefully it’ll be helpful in fire season, but the places that burned last year are dealing with mudslides.
Right. We had mudslides after we got burned up in the mountains. I saw where some mudslides were taking down homes and I know out here roads have been destroyed and had to be rebuilt.
