Except it isn’t. I haven’t had the energy to have a manic Monday or any other day of the week!
Good afternoon everybody. I’m no longer feeling like I’m on death’s door so that’s a bonus. I still need my inhaler but not every day and I sometimes sleep in my own bed now. Go me!
I’m going to be making my reading and commenting rounds today so I can see what everyone has been up to, and you can share with me in the comments. I love comments.
Oh my gosh. How ’bout the cold and snow? I know most of you aren’t in the frozen tundra zone but, I know a lot are. Geez o’ Pete! Surprisingly my family in northern Michigan aren’t in the zone, but my family in lower Michigan are getting blasted with that frigid weather. It’s crazy!
I saw a live video on YouTube recording Manhattan, New York. It’s totally buried and people are walking around, riding bikes, standing in a forever long line for pizza! What I thought was cool was that NYPD have their own plows and snowblowers. They’re not like the city plows, it’s the NYPD vehicles. Like your neighbor has a plow on his pickup, that’s what NYPD has on their SUVs. I thought, well, wouldn’t that be handy catching the bad guys, just scoop ’em up off the street!
It’s been cold here and no sun what-so-ever. Normally, I’m happy about this, but I’ve been so chilled and the sun is the only heat that really gets into your bones and I need that right now. I just can’t seem to get warm. Probably just lingering flu stuff. I’m sure I’ll be 100% soon
I’ve been following these guys, two Brits, Josh and Jase, and they are so much fun. They’ve been traveling all over Michigan – IN THE WINTER! – Omgosh. They weren’t quite prepared. I don’t know if any of you are following them, but they will definitely put a smile on your face.
My granddaughter had another dance competition over the weekend, and from the freezing cold and crappy roads, a winner emerges. My granddaughter was the 2nd Runner-Up in her age group. It’s so much fun to be able to watch her online when I can’t be there to see her in person.

And to slip in some #MondayMusic, the song she tapped danced to, in her awesome pink tap shoes, is a song that her and her friends call a classic.

Okay. I’m calling it a day or early evening, I need to take some medicine and make some rounds to all of you, and then it’s bedtime for me. I hope you’ve all had a great start to your week, and I’m sorry for such a boring post but really, it’s just life, especially with the freezing cold.
You guys take care of yourselves, and please tell me you’re having a much more exciting time than I am at the moment.

I’m very glad you’re feeling better! :) As for winter weather, we had 18.5 inches dumped on us yesterday, and that is a record for this area. 😱 Your granddaughter is adorable! 💖
Thank you and I’m so sorry about your weather. I know you hate it. Mother Nature put us into spring so we’ve got temps in the 50s.

Here in Australia we are not in a frozen Tundra either, instead we have blast furnace heat, so many of us stay inside with air conditioners running.

Oh, man. Well, I wish I had some coldness to send to you but our weather has decided it’s spring. Our temps are in the 50s. It’s nuts. I’m happy you have AC. I know it’s a life saver when we have our triple digit heat.

Thank you, Liz. You’ll be happy to know that your warmth has reached us! Look at you with your weather super powers! Lol. Our temps are now in the 50’s and set to be that way for at least a week. What the heck is happening in this world?? So crazy.
I hope my comment goes through as it seems like the past few I’ve left never end up showing up! Besides the f* snowstorm, it’s been boring here, but we’ve also had to stay in because of the snow. I’ve walked in two different malls with friends because we are so desperate to walk anywhere. So yeah, real exciting!
Congrats to your granddaughter. Your daughter is also just as lovely! I think I’ve seen those guys on TikTok. I’m a little obsessed with it. I’m glad you’re feeling better. The flu is no joke! Did I tell you I had Covid (3rd time) in Nov/Dec? But it really just seemed like a mild cold. I finally tested myself near the end and it was positive.
I’ve been having issues with replying, but I think I got it fixed. – Covid bites me in the ass repeatedly too! What the hell? And they used to have a pill that you could take to ease the symptoms and speed up the recovery time, but not anymore. The Covid strain that pill was created for no longer exists. Covid is forever mutating. – I am so happy to finally be over that stupid flu. I absolutely hate being sick. – I used to walk in the mall here, but there’s like a handful of stores left, and it’s just kinda creepy walking through a barely there mall.
I’m glad you are finally feeling better! We had no snow, but it was plenty cold, and will be cold again tonight although we thaw out well in the day.
