Dear February,
Here is my request –
More laughter, less tears.
More happiness, less sadness.
More joy. less pain.
More love, less hate.
You’re supposed to be the month of love.
Please don’t let us down.
a lovely post and big cheers to the new month!
fun fact and some local color from my part of the world:
in finnish february is: ‘helmikuu’ (helmi = pearl kuu=moon) it’s named after the frozen drops of ice that hang from the birch branches during the month.
february 1 is also the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox it is customary to light a candle to welcome back the sun.
