It was a busy Monday for me. Seems everybody was having sales and somehow grocery shopping turned into Christmas shopping and then boom. The day is gone and I’m sitting here trying to write a post under the wire!
My post today is short n’ sweet.
My favorite, all time Halloween song that I’ve memorized all the words to since I was a kid and the song I sing along to at the top of my lungs whenever it comes on the radio when I’m driving.
The one. The only.
THE MONSTER MASH!
Do you have a favorite Halloween song?
I have to admit. There aren’t a lot of ’em out there but there are enough to have a fave.
So spill.
Even if you don’t have a favorite Halloween song, do you have a favorite song that brings back great memories of this time of year?
Cider mills, hay rides, apple picking, pumpkin patches..

Happy Monday to you all and here’s to a phenomenal week ahead fill with all things warm n’ snuggly – guys in flannel shirts.. –
(Oops, did I print that out loud??)
If nothing else. Get up and do a little mash..
THE MONSTER MASH!
Mimi’s quote for the day –

I have to think about it. It’s hard to top a grave yard smash.

I agree Cranky but I have a feeling somebody’s going to same something lame like ‘Thriller.’ Which for me, the best part of that song was Vincent Price. :)

I had an 8-track of Bobby “Borris” Pickett and the Crypt Kicker 5!!! I loved them all as a kid, along with Monster Mashup were greats like “Me and my Mummy” and “The Transylvania Twist” among others…

Yay! I’m going to YouTube ‘Me and my Mummy.’ I haven’t heard that one. :D Thanks for sharing. And thanks for not mentioning Thriller. Hahaha

Yay. Another “masher!” :) – Shopko didn’t make it on my list today. Costco took a ridiculous amount of time but I’m heading out tomorrow too. Should be my last trip until it’s time to go to UPS and mail things off! :)

Think it’s a toss up between Monster Mash and Ghost Busters for me.

Ah. Ghostbusters is another good one S.J. I think The Monster Mash holds number 1 with me because I remember riding around with my dad and listening to it when I was little. :)

Oh how I do love this song! But I would have to say the “song” that makes me think of Halloween most is the theme song to Halloween, the movie. Classic spooky music!

You are so right. That Halloween theme song is creepy! I can’t listen to any really creepy songs. They totally freak me out!

We do not have Halloween here in India. But it’s always fascinating to know the celebration and songs! 😊

Wow Shalzz, thanks for the heads up. I never think about the people and countries that may not celebrate the way we do. I suppose it must seem weird to those who don’t celebrate Halloween. You should do a post! :D What our celebrations look and sound like to YOU! :D That would be super interesting.

I don’t have a favorite song this time of year. It’s cold out this morning and I don’t like that. The heater is on. I want to be in a place that’s 80 degrees year around. That’s what I want and then I’d have some tropical tune to claim as my favorite.
Have a fabulous day. ☺

No shoes, no shirt, no problem.. :D We were just talking about the perfect place to live that stayed between 75-80 degrees year round! I’m not sure that place exists but it might. I’ll research n’ let you know. We can be neighbors! :D
