Not enough hours in the day to answer that one.
Let me just file the entire month of August in the MIA file of life.
I’ll explain in bits n’ pieces but not today.
Today is September and it’s a pretty special month for me.
My Virgo baby boy turns 25 on the 13th.
What the heck?? He’s half of 50!
Time just needs to slow it’s ass down!
It’s not a race. It’s life and I prefer it in slow mo!
Just a few things about Virgos.
This one suits my boy to a T.
In Chinese astrology, my boy is a rooster.
I’m a rabbit and we get along just fine.
I think the Chinese need to stick to egg rolls.
And in the Celtic zodiac, you get a birthday tree and an animal.
AND… Here are the birthstone and the birth flower.
So many birthday signs!
All of these wonderful traits are my boy and if there’s anything not so wonderful about him I surely do not know.
September is also Lymphoma awareness month.
Found at stage 4, I beat it at stage 4.
Miracles happen or curses depending on who you ask about me.
September is also International Sewing Month.
My first project of September? Kiddie bowl cozies for a lit’l guy back in Michigan.
I hope he likes them.
I probably shouldn’t have used an orange bowl with these.
This pic is a little blinding.
I hope you’re all enjoying this long Labor Day weekend and if you are working it, thank you.
It’s been a little hectic around here so I’m going to head out to a bbq, relax, catch up with some old friends who just moved into their new home and enjoy a few cocktails.
I’m going to try and schedule these posts and see how that works out. I think I can get them to post on all of my social networks from HootSuite. We’ll see.
Okay. I’m out. Enjoy the day and I’ll visit when I get back.
MIMI’S QUOTE FOR THE DAY-
I’m a Virgo too. My birthday is the 8th. I’ll be 67 years old. Where has the time gone? I don’t know. It’s been a wonderful ride.
I hope things are okay with you. I’ve missed you.
Have a fabulous Labor Day weekend. β₯

Not surprising. Virgos are wonderful, kind human beings. π – You’re as old as my sister. π And can I just say neither one of you look anywhere close to 67 but 67 today is not the 67 of our grandmas. I’m happy it’s been a wonderful ride thus far and I know it’s just going to keep on going and going. β€ – Things are okay, Sandee just emotionally draining and sad, so, so sad. I'm going to keep cheering and praying and expecting a miracle because miracles do happen. I believe that.. Also, it's nice to be missed. Thank you. I miss being here. β€ I'm going to try to do better with my blog because sitting around worrying or wondering or waiting isn't going to change anything. Life will unfold as it's meant to unfold and I have no control over that.. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Sandee. I'm going to hit the trails and hope to not run into any coyotes. π

I’m glad Sept is here too but the past few years it’s just been an extension of the hot, humid summer weather. Is that bowl Fiestaware? I LOVE that stuff!

We’ve got some 90’s coming up and then we’ll drop like a rock into the 70’s and there I wish it would stay. And yes, it is Fiesta. It’s my fave. π

Whoa, I didn’t know that you beat Lymphoma! That’s fantastic. My mom spent her last 15 years dealing with non-Hodgkin’s but hers was incurable.
You go girl – rock this September!

I’m sorry to hear that about your mom. π¦ They found mine at stage 4 and told me I wouldn’t be here in a year.. That was 2006 and here I am. π Satan wasn’t ready for me to take over just yet. π – Five days in and this Sept is looking phenomenal. Thank you!

I’ve been waiting for September and a little cool down, too bad it had to drag hay fever season along with it.

Aw, that stinks. We get hit with the sage out this way and it’s awful. And all of this smoke from the wildfires. Ugh. This coming week all 70’s for us. I’m sooooo happy.
