❤ I feel like I haven’t even been to bed!
❤ I’m thinking about how much I love my pup but I wish she wouldn’t behave like a cat! Sleep all day. Up all night. Which means I’m up all night because she doesn’t jump down from the bed or up onto it.
It’s my own fault. She’s 14 and I worry about her joints and bones. I just really want to baby her for however much longer we are blessed to have her.
In the meantime, I bitch because ya’ know, that’s what I do.
❤ We’ve got a rainy week ahead with temps in the 40’s. I’ll take it. It’s too late in the game for snow now. The Snow Miser had his chance.
Nope. Not this year you weren’t. No white Christmas for us. Loser…
❤ I started intermittent fasting. I’ll let ya’ know how that goes. You have an 8-hour window to eat and then 16 hours of fasting. It’s supposed to be really healthy for you. You can read about it here.
❤ Seriously wish I could go back to bed but I can’t.
❤ Thinking about heading outside as soon as it gets daylight. I need to wake up!
❤ Trying to ignore the sirens so early today… Hoping everyone is okay.
❤ On my hook. A Christmas present. A super-soft blanket. I work on it while binge-watching Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime but since there’s only 2 seasons available right now and I’m on season 2 I may have to find another show to binge on.
❤ On my loom is a simple winter hat for next year.
❤ Under my needle is a Halloween project.

We got a sh*t ton of lake effect snow the last few days, so sucks to be me. I can’t do that fasting business. I’d be awake in the middle of the night with my stomach growling. I love music that’s not appropriate for my age too! I always turn up Slim Shady when it comes on. I will have to look up your song,

Yuck. It’s getting near spring. It needs to stop snowing everywhere now. – So far fasting isn’t too bad. I fast once a month for my faith but I am having difficulty not being able to eat fruit on Atkins. I’ve lost weight but I feel like shit and what’s the point in that? I want to be healthy and feel good. Atkins does not allow that. It’s so frustrating… – Oh man, I am so into music and especially the artists from Michigan and Eminem… There’s so much more to him. For being a street kid he’s really intelligent. He’s read the dictionary. More than once. Here’s my nerd girl coming out. One of my goals, when I was growing up, was to read the dictionary. Don’t ask me why… He did it for his rapping. 🙂 Also. I listen to all the new stuff because I just love the energy of it. It keeps me dancing! 😀 You should see me car dance to Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off. Hahahaha 🙂

You’re such a good dog mom! 🙂 And there’s nothing better than dog kisses to start the day. I’ve been reading a lot about intermittent fasting and thinking this is something I want to try as well. It sounds a lot easier to manage than a strict diet. Rap ain’t my thing, but Eminem sure is good at it.
That blanket looks warm and cozy! It’s still below freezing here, but I might venture out to Costco. Otherwise, it’s the January doldrums, 😛

Well, I try. I hope she knows that. ❤ – The fasting is A LOT easier than tracking every morsel of food that passes your lips. It's supposed to be healthy for you after you get over the initial side effects. We'll see. – Our January has turned gray and rainy but I'm okay with that because the temps are going up and I'm really okay with that!

I’ve been watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon. I was a big fan of Gilmore Girls, so I love this. My father just got Amazon Prime, so we’re only on season 2 (and I only get to watch it when I’m visiting him), so it’ll take a bit.

It’s Wednesday morning here, 4.20am and I’m having a sleepless night, most unusual for me, there must be something on my mind that needs sorting out. Usually that sorting happens while I sleep, but here I am, wide awake.

I have and we tried a few out but she wanted nothing to do with them so here we are up at 3am again but that’s okay. I can sleep when I’m dead, right?

Poor, sweet Luci! I’ve had older dogs in the past and I sure understand wanting to baby them as long as you can. My pup Marty is still young and likes to cuddle with us on the bed at night (our other dog Sadie prefers the dog bed on floor which is good b/c two dogs on the bed would be too much!). However, every time I get up to go to the bathroom, Marty spreads out and takes up all the room plus the blanket lol!
Pretty colors on your blanket. Looks like all your projects are coming along well. Very frigid weather here this week. Mimi’s thought for the day is exactly the way I like to start each day! 🙂

I would totally gather all the pups up on the bed with me and kick the hubs to the couch. Hahahaha. Of course, I’m not married. – All of my projects are coming along and I’ll be starting another one today. 🙂 – That totally sucks that it’s so cold there. Our temps are finally warming up.
