  1. How pleasant to read your post, Karen. I love #12 – it made me happy and sentimental! (I am thinking of my grandma who made 14 good choices!!!!)

Can’t wait to see your reading pocket. Oh, how I love crocheted stuff! My aunt was very good at it.

    Lovely thought about slowing down.

Hugs to you! Happy birthday to your son!

  2. That is a totally amazing cake! My daughter made a really neat bulldozer cake for my grandson’s 3rd birthday last week. It’s hard to pick a favorite meal, but if fish tacos are on a menu, I always pick that.

    1. My daughter in law always makes the birthday cakes and I think she does a great job, thank you. I’ll be sure to show her your comment. – Your grandson’s bulldozer cake sounds cool and I just love that your daughter made it. Homemade birthday cakes are the best! – Fish tacos are soooo good. I always order fish on the menu. It’s my favorite. For the birthday dinner, I chose the catfish and it was delicious.

    1. Thank you, Sandee. Red Lobster is a once a year thing for me altho if I lived on the east coast or the west coast I would be an eater of seafood everyday!

      1. I bet! And that would be an amazing thing just to stroll to a market and get it fresh… I’d never leave. I’d make my own all you can eat spot! πŸ™‚

    1. I love Audrey. My fave movie of hers is Breakfast At Tiffany’s. I had a big celebrity crush on her co-star George Peppard. I think you’ll find Audrey to be very, very normal, and a seemingly loving and giving woman. I think it shows in her face. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, Liz. Yesssss, LOTS of cake and ice cream and Hawaiian shirts! πŸ™‚ – I can’t wait to finish it. I hope it turns out as cute as I think it will because it’s a gift.

  4. That cake is amazing! Happy birthday to your son. I wish we had a Red Lobster here or even something similar. Our food places are either burgers or pizzas unless you want expensive restaurants.

    1. Thank you, River. I can’t believe my baby is 27… My daughter-in-law has a lot of fun making cakes and cupcakes. – It’s too bad you don’t have a Red Lobster over there because it really is a nice change from burgers and pizza. πŸ™‚ It would be fun to read a post on your fast food over there. πŸ™‚
