Soooo, this is a real thing now.
No. Seriously. Real clowns. The fun kind – if there are such a kind – started this movement.
See. They’re having a march and everything!
Clown Lives Matter is a real thing now.
Un-fucking-believable!
The whole idea of this just makes my head hurt.
Are people really this stupid???
And not just the Clown Lives Matter people but the other jackasses dressing up like clowns too!
What is the deal with these clowns??
It started with a report of clowns trying to lure kids into the woods.
Then clowns were being arrested for terroristic threats.
Then clown Halloween costumes were banned at some schools.
Then there were rumors of clowns being shot and real clowns being afraid for their lives.
AND THEN – Clown Lives Matter.
Really???
What is the end game here?
The real clowns, the fake clowns, the Clown Lives Matter movement.
What are people hoping to accomplish with this??
I don’t get it.
Are real clowns seriously comparing their “plight” with that of the Black Lives Matter movement??
Has there been even one – true – headline about cops killing clowns?
Has there been thousands of reported cases of clown on clown crime??
I’m gonna’ go with “no” on all counts.
Here’s the thing clowns. Before you get too caught up in this baseless movement of yours, remember this.
At the end of the day, you can always take off your clown shit.
Black people can’t take the color of their skin off.
SIDE NOTE:
I do NOT support the Black Lives Matter OR the Clowns Lives Matter movement.
IN OTHER NEWS – It’s supposed to be near 80 here today and even tho it’s a beautiful day and the outdoors are calling to me, I must stay on task and get my “to do” list done TODAY!
Car maintenance, errands, and laundry!
Hopefully, there will enough day left in my day to get out and enjoy one of the last warm days of the year.
I was happy to see that Hurricane Matthew has calmed down a bit. Not to say he hasn’t and still isn’t wreaking havoc down south but it could have been much, much worse and I’m thankful it was not. Fingers, eyes and toes all crossed that there isn’t a hiccup, a change of wind, anything that would cause even more destruction.
Here’s to plenty of sunshine, fleeting rains and calm winds ahead for the weekend.
Cheers!
Mimi’s quote for the day
Special thanks to Stephen King for intensifying my fear of clowns.
I have a crocheted or knit clown someone made me when I was little and he’s adorable but his face isn’t all made up either. I named him Clowny (I know, positively DRIPPING with originality there. lol). If the media would realize that by broadcasting a story about clown sightings, it gives idiots ideas to do it where they live too. The media is to blame for all this shit. Getting everyone upset and freaked out and offended, thereby distracting people to the important stuff no one’s paying attention too. Like bees going on the endangered species list. Never thought I’d see the day.

I agree Joanne. I think stories like this, or any story that can be inflamed, is fueled by the media. – I read about the bees. It’s very sad but the American farmer is no more and now the bees are following suit.

I think most of the world has gone off their rocker. I’m just saying.
I’m not a fan of black lives matter. There are better ways to get their point across than killing cops. I’m just saying.
Have a fabulous day. ☺

I agree and I agree CP. In fact, I went back and added a side note stating that I do NOT support either one of these ridiculous movements.

The posters with the clowns really make me want to support their cause. NOT!
I’m not thrilled with clowns or dolls – must be an almost universal thing or there wouldn’t be so many horror films made with them.
We had another beautiful day here, wish I could say the same for everyone else.

I am not a fan of clowns AT ALL. It was super difficult to write this post but I had to because I think it’s so ridiculous. We have a movement for everything now. Ugh. – Yay for a beautiful day. And I’m with you, I wish it was the same for everyone else.

I’m just glad I was not drinking coffee when I read “clown on clown” crime! Funny line and I just can’t get that image out of my head…dueling water flowers? Rubber chicken battle?

I don’t get it either all the weird clown stuff and sightings. SERIOUSLY???!!!
I am so glad Hurricane Matthew took a turn. My son lived 5 miles outside the mandatory evacuation zone. They hunkered down and thankfully that turn helped a lot for them.

Let’s hope this clown thing is a passing bit of stupidity. – YAY for your son! That’s GREAT news. I too am thankful that Matthew turned. Hurricanes are just so scary.

Wow, I don’t get it either. I’ve never been a fan of clowns. Not at all! I’ve always found them to be rather freaky and scary. That aside, some children really like clowns and they can be entertaining. But marches and a “Clown Lives Matter” movement, seriously?!! Their plight cannot be compared to the Black Lives Matter movement, not even close! I’m disgusted and it’s making my head hurt too.
I’m glad Hurricane Matthew has calmed down a bit too. My cousins in Florida fared OK. Mimi’s quote for the day gave me a good laugh LOL! Have a good weekend, Karen!

Super happy your cousins made it thru JLil. That’s the most important thing. Everything else can be replaced. – The whole clown thing. Still makes my head hurt.. I’ve never liked clowns either. I always thought they were hiding something behind all that make up… – Mimi’s quote should include marrying one as well. 🙂
