I’m so pissed about yesterday’s events at the – OUR – United States Capitol Building in Washington DC.
I don’t know if it’s the way I was raised or where I was raised but somewhere I learned this…
If your friend says to you, hey, let’s go rob a bank, or steal a car or storm the United States Capitol, and they assure you that, they’ll be right there with you but you turn around and they’re nowhere to be found. Yeah. That means you’re on your own. You’re the bullet bag. You’re the one who’s going to take the fall, get arrested, or shot dead.
Sorry for your luck.
– You should’ve never agreed to go along.
– That isn’t your friend.
I don’t care how anyone voted. What happened yesterday was wrong.
That’s pretty much all I’m going to say because honestly, I got nutthin’.
MIMI’S THOUGHT FOR THE DAY –
❤ XoXo ❤

I thought of you last night.
It was truly shocking to see. Moreso because it was whipped up by a sitting president in a so-called democratic country.
On a positive note – it was good that people from both “sides” condemned it and spoke up on the basis of right and wrong.

Oh, it was/is just awful. I too am happy that good people from both sides condemned it and are now working on a solution to protect our democracy and to keep an eye on Trump to make sure he doesn’t blow anybody or anything up.

How insane was that? My husband thinks the police should have just started shooting. It was an act of terrorism. This just shows the world that our capitol building is not secure. SMH.

Completely insane. I can’t believe they didn’t have a plane flying overhead to corral those morons. An act of terrorism is absolutely right! – I think those guys had help from the inside. That was too organized and I think one of Trump’s idiot sons pulled it all together with those proud boy jerks. – They ought to secure all of our buildings in DC like they do Fort Knox. Things could have gone horrifically wrong, even worse than they did. 5 dead now. At least one police officer. That’s on Trump.

I didn’t watch it and I’m happy about that. I turned off the news last year when the mobs were burning down our cities and the press was making out that it was mostly peaceful.
Have a fabulous day. Love you. ♥

Oh yes, yesterday was terrible. I just don’t get how these people thought this was a good idea. But when a crazy riles up the crazies, this sort of thing is bound to happen. I’m really angry at all those that are still facilitating this guy who has less than two weeks left on the job.

I saw it on the news last night and was horrified to learn it had been incited by the president himself! right then I thought “that man is completely nuts and so are his followers if they think what they are doing right now is right”

Omgosh River, same here! I’m still unsettled about the whole thing. And Trump is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The next 12 days of him in office are frightening.

What happened at our nation’s Capitol was so awful! I am pissed, shocked, and upset about it. Karen, your analogy is spot on and I totally agree. It doesn’t matter how you voted, this was wrong, period!! This is not a third-world country where you attack the seat of government when you disagree with the outcome of an election. Sadly, five people have now died, the latest being a Capitol police officer who died after being badly injured just doing his job when the mob stormed in. Such a horrific day and a tragedy that never should have happened! 😦 ❤

Yes! That is the first sign that something has gone wrong and all is not as it seems. But actually there have been many signs. I watched a video last night on Twitter that was brilliant. The guy kept saying, “it’s time to wake up!” And it so is!! I am praying for and trying to send the energy of safety, justice and peace.
