Missed Connection Monday is brought to you by your local Craigslist. These are real “love notes” that strangers leave for other strangers in the ‘Personals’ section on Craigslist.
Or as I like to call it – Your local serial killer hunting ground.

We met by the bathroom. You are hot. Tell me what happened so I know it was you. Be specific. Things were said and done. I will not reply without specifics.
**** Dear We Met By The Bathroom…
First I need to know. Is Richard’s restaurant located inside this building because it’s really got that “Richard” vibe going on… Just sayin’.

Okay, so things were “said and done… Be specific.”
Is this specific enough for you??
Moral of this Craigslist love connection?
Stay out of buildings that could be nicknamed Dick.

Email me for clues to to the location of the first item on list. what is it, you say? could be Shiny, green or a lotto.. it will also have clues to find the next item and so on until the list is completed. once completed there will be a bonus round!
**** Okay, seriously… Could be shiny, green or a lotto????
It could also be this.

And this could be your bonus round…
Seriously. JUST – SAY – NO!

Greetings plenty of free time for me this weekend. interested in Darker skin
**** Need I say more….

Could be just me but Craigslist’s love notes seemed especially creepy this week…

From my previous post, “Thankful Thursday – Copy That.”
My allergies are MUCH better AND I made my garlic hummus!
It was so delicious I made 2 batches. The first one to follow a recipe, the second one tweaked to my liking – LOTSA’ GARLIC! I’ll be making this again, and again. So much better than store-bought.

So, happy Monday! How was your weekend? Remember when I said last weekend seemed to drag on and on? Well, this weekend just flew by! I didn’t have much going on because when I open my front door and heat hits me like a 400-degree oven, guess what? I’m inside in the AC!

But Mimi… Your car has AC. Yes, yes it does but the parking lot into the store doesn’t and I’m pretty sure nobody wants to see puddles of my flesh on the hot ass asphalt from my car into the grocery store!

Wait… I may have stumbled on a new weight loss plan… Hhhmmm.

ZERO plans for today folks. ZERO. This means I’ll be lounging inside with the AC and hopefully finishing up a few projects AND the book I am currently reading.
It’s a British mystery and I’m really diggin’ all things British right now.

But I’m also diggin’ this New Zealand crime show on Brit Box.

It reminds me a lot of Midsomer Murders which I also love.

How ’bout you?
Anybody reading and/or watching anything thrilling and spine-chilling???
I’m always up for a new read or new watch. Please share!

❤ XoXo ❤

  1. Losers are everywhere. Bless their hearts.

We had a great weekend on the boat. It was chilly, but we had work to do to get her ready for our next cruise. I appears a heatwave is headed our way. Oh joy.

We are currently watching Dynasty on Netflix. It’s hilarious.

Have a fabulous day and week, Karen. Love you bunches. ♥

    • So, I had to check out Dynasty… I thought you were talking about the one from the 80’s with Joan Collins! I loved that show! And the hair, and the clothes and the jewelry! Hahaha. – I hope you have good weather for your cruise but I suppose on the open water the weather’s always good if you’ve got cover from the sun. 🙂 – Love you! ❤

  2. We’re heating up here the next couple days, so I’ll be doing the A/C thing, too. The only “new” show I’ve seen lately is The Nevers on HBO. It’s weird.

  3. Those are super creepy! Know what’s creepier? A blinking red Pinterest Save button that is appearing on your A Quiet Place picture! Bahahaha! And omg, I can’t even with the darker skin!! I’m very creeped out by guys who have some kink for certain ethnicities! And my son married an Asian girl, but at least it was the only Asian girl he ever dated! Bahahaha!

I don’t do scary books. My life scares me enough. I’m all about the comfort reads. Just started Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand, the Queen of Beach Reads!

    • Hahahahaha! It’s not blinking for me! That is creepy but kinda’ cool it did it on its own. Hahaha. – “But at least it was the only Asian girl he ever dated.” HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That’s okay. My son and his partner are thinking way in the future about adopting babies and for some reason what flew out of my mouth when they told me was, “Oh, you’re going to give me some Asian grandbabies? I love Asian babies!” Hahahaha. – Hey, thanks for the tip on Elin Hilderbrand. I can’t believe I’ve never read one of her books! Definitely going to check into that. I do love the beach reads.

  4. Not sure I like the sound of that weight loss plan.
I remember The Brokenwood mysteries, a lovely slow-paced change from American TV, but sadly ended too soon.

  5. Brit Box and Acorn are fabulous. We loved the Brokenwood Mysteries and Are binging on Agatha RAison and I watched the 20s version of Mis Fisher.
    Love your blog today.

    • Hey, thanks for stopping by! Yesssss. I don’t know how people live without AC but apparently, a lot of people do over in Washington. I’m sure after this heatwave they’ll be rethinking that idea. I love hummus too and I’m so happy that it’s so easy to make.
