I have to say, I woke up to an absolutely beautiful day today. The temps are perfect, the sun is shining, the pup slept in and all is right with the world.
I passed my every 3 months doc check up with flying colors! I’ve lost weight, my blood pressure is great. No lumps or bumps or swollen anything that would send me to the oncologist.
I’m over the moon!
Not to be paranoid or anything but once you’ve had cancer, normal check ups with the doc just aren’t the same anymore.
And speaking of paranoid… Our wifi went out so we had to call the cable company which is always a pain to deal with.
First, you have to explain to them in precise detail what the issue is. You can’t just tell them the wifi went out.
Then they have you go thru their 100 DIY steps to fix it, which of course, you’ve already tried otherwise you wouldn’t be calling them in the first place, right?
THEN, they send you a cable guy.
It’s always a roll of the dice with these guys. Most times we get a 12-year old that much like Jon Snow knows nothing. However, the roll of the dice was with us on this day. We didn’t get a 12-year old nor did we get a serial killer. Yay!
AND we found out that since we’ve never been late with our bill in the almost 3 yrs. we’ve been with them we have a $200 credit! Score!
Note: If you’ve been with a company for a very long time, check your discounts. You may have some like we did!
So, so very much to do!
I'm glad your trip to the doctor was a good one. I have those very issues too. I've not had cancer, but they still scare me now and then. Not fun.
Glad you got your WiFi back. I hate it when there are issues and you're right about some of the repair people.
I'm happy that you're having a red letter day.
Have a fabulous day. ☺

I am so relieved you got a clean bill of health! I am in the final countdown to back to school. It starts for us next Wednesday. My oldest will be a junior and my baby is going to in 6th grade.

There really is something somewhat terrifying about going to the dr. isn't there? They know so much and so much of what they know is life or death! OUR lives and death! – Oh, I'm so happy about the wifi too. I panic for a split second and then I pick up a book or my crochet. Really too reliant on the wifi and social networking but I do love it so. – And thank you, thank you, thank you, Sandee! Yes! Red letter days are awesome!

Hi Karen, I love your new blog! I like the color scheme too. Yay about your check up, that is excellent news!
I am so glad I don’t have to deal with a cable company and the cable guy anymore. Got Verizon Fios a few years ago which is fiber optics, no cable wires, and it rarely ever goes out except in very bad storms and even then there is a backup. If something goes out like the set top box, they just mail you a new one, nobody has to come out. The last cable company I had was just awful. I’m glad you didn’t get a 12-year-old or a serial killer cable guy this time LOL! I actually had some I wondered about back when I had cable, creepy. Kudos on that $200 credit, nice.
I could absolutely use more than 24 hours in a day too. Happy weekend to you!

Yay! Thank you, JLil. 🙂 This is my online happy place. My other blog was just pulling me down. Not sure if that makes sense but this one is much lighter and happier. 🙂 – You're SO lucky you don't have to deal with cable people. We have TWO, count 'em TWO cable companies here and sadly we have the best one of the lot and we don't even have cable! Just the wifi. The service isn't that great but it's better than nothing so I try not to complain too, too much. – Oh, I'm so happy I'm not alone with needing more hours in the day. Criminey. Some days it just feels like ya' just woke up and now it's time for bed!

When did you change your blog, I don't recall getting notice! It's ok, your forgiven. I've always had good luck with the cable dudes…they even come when they say they will.
Good news on the doctor front.

Hahaha. I didn't give anyone notice. The old one just weighed me down. I'm not in that place anymore. If that makes sense. I was wondering when you'd notice! 😀

Happy for you, although I am fortunate enough to have only lived that particular journey through some loved ones. I'm waiting until later this month to resume crocheting.

Thank you, Alana. It's an awful journey however you take it.. I am OBSESSED with crocheting as of late and I have so many projects going that need to be done. Sometimes it gets so busy around here I don't touch my hooks but I try to make as much time as I can. I'm still trying to find the rhyme and reason to a person – me – crocheting in 97 degree heat! 🙂
