THANKFUL THURSDAY – COPY THAT

That’s the phrase that was stuck in my head this morning when I woke up. Copy that.
I didn’t have any weird vibe or negative vibe so I’m guessing everything in my dream was fine, whatever that dream was. Dreams are so weird. Sometimes there’s meaning to them. Sometimes you can connect the dream with things that happened throughout the day or something you watched. Sometimes they mean absolutely zero. I’m pretty sure this was that.

I also woke up to some wonderful rain and much lower temps that aren’t supposed to climb out of the 60’s today which I am totally loving. What I’m not loving? Waking up to these pain-in-the-ass allergies. Omgosh. I feel like I just want to cut a jack-o-lantern triangle right at the bridge of my nose just so I can breathe!
Yeah. Sorta’ like that.

Currently, the girls and I are enjoying some loose leaf rooibos tea, with a bit of ginger, lemon balm, cinnamon, calendula petals, and all kinds of good stuff to help with my allergies. So far so great.

I’m also taking allergy meds. Supposedly non-drowsy allergy meds but I think that’s a big fat lie because they make me soooo tired.
Right!

If I can get my allergies under control I’m going to make some garlic hummus today.
And just in case you’re curious…
That’s a 5lb bag of garbanzo beans.
I can’t wait to get started!

THANKFUL THURSDAY
1.) Today I am thankful for tea and allergy meds.
2.) I’m thankful for the much-needed rain.
3.) I’m thankful for a cozy bed to fall back into until the allergy meds work.

Rainy Days & Mondays – Brain Dump

<3 I’m in my nightgown.
<3 My nails are painted in Halloween colors that sparkle.<3 It’s hard to take a pic of your own hand.
<3 I will change that/those colors a million times before Halloween.
<3 I’ve got laundry going.
<3 I’m deciding whether or not to cut my hair off again.

Omgosh. The weekend here was amazing. The temps dropped, it rained… And a few Halloween decorations may or may not have gone up… I know. I know.
Some people think it’s too soon and we’re rushing it. I just think we get to enjoy it longer!

MEANWHILE….

So apparently I just like to break all of those “build your audience, build your followers” ~~build a fucking bear~~ rules of blogging. However, as most of you know. I’m not nor have I ever been, a rule follower. I follow the law and anything baking that smells like it should go directly onto my fat ass.

I’ll keep this post short so you don’t end up muddling thru a shitty, everyday version of War & Peace. But hey! How ’bout this handbag made from a War and Peace book?! I love it.
No big mystery as to why I’ve been away. Sometimes life is just meh.

♦The highlight of my week thus far has been driving in snow, rain and whipping winds to arrive early at my dental appt. and being told AFTER AN HOUR of sitting there that they’ve overbooked. Ugh. I rescheduled.

♦No idea what’s happening with the Cohen confessions. Don’t care.

♦In the craft corner, its been all about crochet.

♦In the weather dept. it’s just nutso! A little bit of everything.

♦HULU pick of the week – Manifest. – Great show. Always keeps me on the edge of my seat.

♦Finished 2 books, Gone Girl and The Giver. Currently reading, The Lightworker’s Source (again.) Need to update my GoodReads acct.

♦Anybody else having issues with Facebook because mine is acting really wonky.
