Since I’ve been trying to get a post written for a week now I decided to just recap “Bujo” style.
- Completed the Whole30 Program. It was challenging and a learning experience, and it was FABULOUS! I lost 19lbs but gained so much more.
- Koegel’s On The Road came thru Idaho with perfect timing and so I was able to get a taste of home and it was delicious.
All Michigan products – Koegel’s meat, Bettermade chips and Faygo pop. The only thing missing was the Superman ice cream for dessert!
- My son, his fiance’ and I all visited our local aquarium for the first time and that was pretty cool.
I loved this guy.
And this one.
He reminded me of The Incredible Mr. Limpet.
Raise your hand if you’re old like me and have seen this movie. I absolutely LOVE it!
- I found Nemo in case anyone was looking for him.
- And my son found these guys and they loved him.
Every time one of them swam up to him all I could think of was Steve Irwin!
- I’ve made a full recovery from Memorial Weekend and all is right with my world once again.
- I bought some more fabric. This may have helped in my recovery.
- Working on baby stuff for my new grandbaby.
- Helping my future daughter-in-law with her newly founded all things pamper/heal yourself small business.
- Totally binged on Rizzoli & Isles. Loved that show.
- The grind – Housework, errands, appts.
You know the drill.
Due to the rain, I’ll be inside crocheting, sewing, crafting and Netflixing something British. What’s happening with all of you??
What are you crafting, sewing, reading, watching???
OR, are you having my dream weekend?
Nowhere to go. Nothing to do.
If that’s your weekend I am super jealous!Mimi’s quote for the day –
Looks like you’re having a good ol’time! No wonder you’ve been too busy to blog!
As for a British show, I know you didn’t care for “Rivers”, but give “Whitechapel” a try or “Broadchurch” if you’re a David Tennant fan! π

I’ll revisit “Rivers.” I see there’s more episodes and I’ll check out both “Whitechapel” and “Broadchurch.” I really like “Midsomer Murders” and “Doc Martin.” π I have been super busy but that’s a good thing. These rainy days are a nice change and really keeps me at home and focused. π Happy Weekend Joe! Thanks for stopping by!

I do miss Steve Irwin, the Animal Planet hasn’t been the same since his death.

He was cool and I love that his wife and kids are carrying on his work. His daughter is just adorable. π

Sounds like that whole 30 was a success!
That was quite the visit to the aquarium. π

Yes it was SJ and I’m still losing. π The aquarium was very cool for a small lit’l place in a strip mall. π

Sounds (and looks) like you are having an excellent late spring! I’m hiding inside from the wretched gypsy moth caterpillars in our oak trees. I hate them worse than spiders. I seriously cannot deal…it’s like, anxiety bordering on nervous breakdown.

Ugh. Spiders or those nasty ass moths! NO THANKS! I see ’em. I kill ’em. And if they get away before I get the chance I’m like a crazy woman hunting them down. We have those long legged spindly things that supposedly eat mosquitos. Once they get in the house all they do is bounce around on the ceiling or fly around my head! Those get killed too.

I must find that movie! What a delightful recap, Karen! Love the fabric selection. Can imagine the excitement as the arrival of your grand baby draws closer! I love going to the aquarium. Maybe I’ll go today since it is en route to another place I’m visiting. By the way, I never thought I’d say this, but your blog is a pleasure to read on the phone! The big font size. Feeling a sense of accomplishment, commenting via the phone, another thing I rarely do. Hugs! π Wishing you a blessed Sunday!

It’s a hokey family movie but I love it still and thank you. I’m happy you can read my blog on your phone! I chose the blog design specifically because it had the big font. I don’t like sitting with my nose to the computer screen or on my phone to try and read something. I’ve been enjoying your posts on Facebook and Instagram so I know you are living a very blessed life and that makes me so, so happy Vidya. π

Congrats on completing that program, Karen! π Itβs nice that you could get a taste of home with Koegelβs on the Road. Love those guys you saw at the aquarium. Crikey, I miss Steve Irwin! Enjoy all that fabric and making stuff for your new grandbaby!
Rizzoli and Isles was a great show. When it was on I watched every episode. A British show I like just returned this month, Grantchester. Have you seen that one? Just watched a movie from 1999 about Andy Kaufman, βMan on the Moon.β Jim Carrey was phenomenal. Have a great rest of the weekend!

Thank you so much. I really need to blog more about it because it’s a program that will change the way some people eat and cook and choose their foods. I was skeptical but now I’m a believer. π – I wish Rizzoli and Isles had been picked up somewhere because I really wanted to see Jane and Maura married with children. I suppose that’s my happy ending for them. π – I will be looking up Grantchester. I have not even heard of it until now. Thanks for the tip! – I saw that movie when it first came out and I too thought Jim Carrey did an amazing job. Andy Kaufman was quite a character. I’m sure there were many more layers of him that we’ve all missed out on.

I think youβll like Grantchester. Itβs about a handsome English Vicar post-war 1950s, in conflict and in love, and he solves crimes too. π
